It will not be up on Amazon.com for another 15 business days, but don't that let stop you from being one of the first people to pick up the 1st of my 3 part series and hold it in your hands. It's been a long road, and I'm really excited this day has finally come. Please spread the word. Updates to the site will be ongoing during the month of December. "Just Be" makes a fantastic Christmas gift, and it's release has come at just the right time. August 16,2009 Slow and steady wins the race. At least that's what I hope. Things are coming along with the book, just at a much slower pace then I was hoping for. Originally my plan was to release the book in September, but it looks like that is going to be pushed back until late fall, as work from my editor(s) slowly comes in. I've gone over the whole novel with my continuity editor, and am 114 pages in with my other editor. There's still a long way to go, so just hang in there with me while I try to make this book as good as possible. July 5, 2009 I hope everyone had a wonderful Fourth of July (My personal favorite holiday) and that it sparkled bright for you!Right now I have a team of two editors working onJust Be. As of right now I am awaiting notes from both editors so that I can make my corrections.If you think writing a book is an easy process, you need a quick reality check. From the inception to editing to publishing...it is a long process and involves a lot of people, even if you are just self publishing. If you ever decide to write your own novel, whatever it may be, make sure you enjoy what you are writing, because chances are you will be working on the material for a few years. Along the way I've been a busy bee writing dialogue for Book 2. (I write all my novels in dialogue only form first) Currently I am working on chapter 9 in Book 2. Always try to be one step ahead of the game. It helps, trust me. In days where I am going totally bonkers, writing is one of the few things that keep me sane. I am so happy this website has finally been launched. I am still in the process of editing Just Be my first novel in a series of three. The last few years have felt long, and I never thought I would ever be even self publishing, but here I am, and with a website to boot. I'm very excited for everything surrounding this series, especially the book cover, which is posted on the 'news' page. Keep checking back on the Playlist page as I slowly take you through the music which helps me to write this series. Also, more links will be up in the future, as well as the store, more blogs about my writing process and updates on future books, (already working on book 2), and maybe some other surprises.
