Synopsis of Just Be . . .
Half of the picturesque, New England town of Portview is keeping a secret. A secret that has effected nobody more than a sarcastic, moody, 16 year old girl.
Ivy Woodman thinks her summer will be like all the other ones in recent years. Stuck attending summer school, working a minimum wage job, and babysitting her little brother. But, everything changes when she meets Christian Archer, someone she detests from their first encounter, is shrouded in as much secrecy and mystery as her, and whom she feels inexplicably drawn to. Shortly after Christian's arrival in town, teenagers start turning up dead and Ivy finds herself smack dab in the middle of a murder mystery, where everyone, even herself, is suspect.
Ivy has been told of her destiny, yet she knows fate has other plans. Is Christian there to help her? Or is he the root of everything wrong in her life?
